Meet Your Bold Moves Bestie & Host
Claudia
Hi! I’m Claudia, the CEO of Capital Consulting Group, a digital and data analytics consulting firm. You can also add mom, student pilot, and nonprofit founder (Black Girls Fly, Inc.).
Here’s what I’ve observed. 👇🏾
Women don’t take time to celebrate and nurture all facets of their lives because they’re too busy — going, doing, and being.
I’m on a mission to change this. To become your Bold Moves Bestie! To help you redefine success in action.
About The Guest
I grew up in Queens, NY, where I faced significant early life challenges, including the loss of my mother at the age of 9 and the absence of my father (he was basically heading out the door when my mom passed, but was officially gone at the age of 11. These experiences have profoundly shaped my journey.
I found strength and direction through my grandmother and the unwavering support of my girlfriend at the time (now wife), who encouraged me to pursue higher education. I went to college for a semester and left. She encouraged me to go back.
My passion for photography and videography was discovered almost by accident, but over there years it later grew into a successful media company, capturing the love stories of 40 to 50 couples annually. This company was the 3rd started over the years. It then came to a screeching end when my business partner and I parted ways.
After a brief return to the corporate world, my passion for creative work reignited, leading me back into the media industry where I continue to thrive. This was all under the first company I ever started - J. August.
Currently, I’m expanding J.August Media by pursuing government contracts (though I’m still learning the ropes in this area), building clientele in the commercial and small business sectors, and continuing to capture weddings.
My story is one of resilience, creativity, and turning life’s challenges into opportunities, which I hope will resonate with the listeners. You just have to keep going.. no matter how bad it looks or feels.
